FAQs

Please check back in once you have received your invitation, as we will have more information for you then

  • Invitations will be sent closer to the date of the wedding. We know a lot of you are travelling far to attend, so wanted to ensure you got your Save the Date with as much notice as possible to arrange travel. Don’t worry, your invitation will be on its way!

  • You can RSVP as soon as you receive the invitation! The sooner the better but please make sure to RSVP by the 31st July.

  • You can RSVP on this website so no need to rely on the post! Just click the RSVP button

  • The dress code is cocktail attire.

There will be a ceilidh in the evening so wear something comfortable that you can dance in!

  • Generally, in September the weather tends to be dry and sunny, typically between 15C and 20C (that’s around 60-70F).

However it is still Scotland, so we would recommend preparing for the odd chilly day or showers, especially if you’re travelling from abroad and spending some time here.

  • Scottish weather is famously unpredictable, and while we’ve got our fingers crossed for sunshine, we know better than to try and guess what’s in store.

The ceremony and wedding breakfast will take place indoors. Weather permitting, the drinks reception will be outside and there will be outdoor spaces to sit and relax during the evening but don’t worry: if it’s raining, you’ll be inside!

  • Of course! Canapes will be served after the ceremony and there will be a full meal in the afternoon, with late-night food served at the end of the reception.

  • When you RSVP, there will be an option to let us know about any allergies or restrictions you have.

We are hosting a family style meal so no need to choose an option in advance, just help yourself to whatever looks good! Don’t worry- there will be vegetarian options.

For our vegan guests you can have a personal plate served to the table with a vegan version of the main course to ensure there’s no confusion. When you RSVP there will be an option to select your own vegan main.

  • Please see the Getting Here section of our site.

We will organise a coach on the day of the wedding to and from Dundee but it's easy to make your own way if you're staying somewhere else!

The venue has car parking and a taxi drop off area.

  • The bus will pick up and drop off guests at the bus stop outside Dundee train station/Four Points Flex (previously Sleeperz) hotel.

On your Maps app, put in Dundee Station or Four Points Flex Hotel. The bus stop is directly in front of the station main entrance.

  • Yes! It’s so important to us that we can celebrate with all the people we love most, so the venue is fully wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities and ramps throughout. There is a gravel road down to the venue, but there is car parking and bus/taxi drop-off directly outside the paved entrance.

If you have any further questions or concerns or need accommodations that we haven’t mentioned here, please let us know!

  • We want to celebrate with all the people we love, but unfortunately space is limited. Please see your invitation details for more information on the number of guests invited.

  • We have decided to host an adults-only celebration, to make sure that everybody can relax and enjoy the party. We love your kids, but you deserve a night off!

  • We’ve lived together for a while- and recently bought our first house!- and so we have everything we need to start our married life together. Many of you are travelling across the globe to celebrate with us in Scotland, so your presence means the world to us and is all we ask for.
